Do you love to travel? Are you a true adventurer at heart? If the answer is yes, then we are pleased to announce a truly inspirational photo exhibition on display now at The Haven, featuring photographer Tugo Cheng. This exhibit is sure to inspire your next adventure and will take your mind and spirit to some of the most amazing landscapes on earth!
Hong Kong native, Cheng is a National Geographic award-winning photographer who has captured the misunderstood African country of Ethiopia. Ethiopia has been garnering quite a bit of attention as the hot new destination for the more adventurous traveller. One look at these photographs and you will understand why. The photography focuses on the dramatic terrain and otherworldly landscapes of this beautiful destination. For example, Tugo captures the salt mining culture of the local Afar people demonstrating their camel caravans transporting salt bricks across Lake Assale. While one of Cheng’s riskiest shots stunningly captures the breathtaking Erta Ale Volcano in action.

Photography is a universal language and I want to use pictures to show people how beautiful the earth is and we will lose it if we do not protect. Photography has more to do with promoting environmental conservation and raising the public’s awareness.
