I recently had the pleasure of being pampered by Fivelements, and I left the experience rejuvenated, sublimely relaxed, and ready to come back to the hustle and bustle of city life. I was treated to a wonderful specialty tasting menu hosted by the award-winning Sakti Dining Room, an infused Sakti ritual massage and bath, a meditative fire blessing ritual, and the most peaceful and relaxing accommodations located right next to the Ayung River. All in all, it was a truly memorable experience, a definite must if you are looking to hit the reset button!

Walking into Fivelements is unlike anything I have experienced before, the energy is radiant and peaceful the moment you step onto the grounds. Fivelements is located away from the city center and is dedicated to a long list of efforts in sustainability and maintaining the natural beauty of the habitat and our environment in general. Fivelements strives to make their retreat a net positive and a regenerative establishment, focusing on the sustainability of their infrastructure, while ensuring circular aspects of resources such as energy, water, materials, and waste.
Aside from these important eco-conscious steps, Fivelements mission is to do so much more. It is dedicated to individuals who are enduring life transitions and transformations and offers high impact wellness strategies to aid in real change, inspiration, and lasting awareness. They are guided by Balinese traditional Hindu philosophies which integrate living in harmony with nature and the elements.
Sakti Dining Room
The Sakti Dining Room at Fivelements Puri Ahimsa. The 400 square meter, 80-seat restaurant runs on just 160 watts of LED lighting. The menu features all-vegan cuisine, including a creative array of raw food offerings, all sourced from local organic suppliers. (Credit/ Fivelements Bali)
A must do while at Fivelements are the raw plant-based tasting menus at the Sakti Dining Room. This restaurant is set adjacent to the Ayung River making it stunningly picturesque and serene. Not only does the Sakti Dining Room serve only the best organic ingredients, but they make sure to support local farmers and put sustainability at the forefront, not to mention all organic food waste is composted on sight.

I enjoyed a delightful 3-course raw vegan menu during my stay; the meal encapsulated excellent flavor, color, nutrient-dense ingredients and a range of delicacies. The meal was refreshing, delicious, and hearty.
Our cuisine features epicurean plant-based, raw vegan living foods in celebration of our “aliveness.” Our goal is simple: To let mother nature’s cuisine shine with all the exciting tastes, textures, vibrant colors and pure flavours. The food we serve is prepared with love, passion, and attention to detail.
Fivelements Bali, Wellness Rituals and Baths

Fivelements offer a wide variety of wellness rituals, spa sessions, and healing retreats. I had the luxury of enjoying the Sakti Ritual Massage and the Saki bath during my stay. The Sakti Ritual Massage is a deep muscle massage followed by a sea salt exfoliating scrub and takes place in the tranquil spa overlooking the river. After enjoying the deeply relaxing massage, I headed over to my room for a private Sakti bath which was infused with lemongrass, Balinese orange, lime, ginger and pandan leaves. All of these ingredients are known for their rejuvenating and healing properties and are also said to help increase circulation and relax your muscles. Added bonus- the river flows directly behind the accommodations making the experience absolutely phenomenal and intimate.

Balinese Ceremonies

At the end of my stay, I was treated to a very special Fire Blessing Ritual. The fire blessing is an ancient ritual which is intended to transform negative and unwanted energy into positive energy in order to manifest new intentions. The blessing is done in the Agni Hotra ceremonial space and is an experience that you should not miss for it is a wonderful introduction to the spiritual culture of Bali.
Fire Blessing Ritual rates: 45min, Private session (1-2 guests) 920 IDR, for group session (3 or more) 420 IDR.
